Today, Birubi SLSC had the pleasure of welcoming 54 enthusiastic nippers from across the Hunter branch for an engaging UAV (Drone) outreach program. Participants delved into the fundamentals of safe drone operation and explored the exciting opportunities that come with piloting drones.A highlight of the day was a fun and educational challenge where small groups programmed their drones to navigate a designated search flight path over a Bondi-themed floor mat. The task was to see which group could successfully return their drone to its take-off location autonomously. The excitement and teamwork displayed were truly inspiring!Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event a success! We look forward to many more youth educational opportunities at Birubi SLSC.
