Board Race In Action

Hunter Branch AOE Winners

Our Surf Sport Development Program is all about helping young lifesavers develop strong surf and board skills, build ocean confidence, and create positive, safe experiences on the beach. Designed for Under 11 to Under 15 club members, this program focuses on board handling, wave selection, and surf safety, while also honing the active water and beach skills needed to become a Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) lifesaver and participate in Surf Life Saving competitions or carnivals.

Sign Up Today — Contact our Surf Sports Officer (Paul Whitaker)on 0435 010 459  for more info and watch out for session reminders on the club Facebook page.

Participants will learn not only how to improve in surf sport, but also how to work as a team, develop leadership skills, and promote safety — all in a fun and supportive environment. Along with board skills, training will include  beach events like flags and sprints, giving participants a well-rounded foundation for competition and real-life surf safety.

Don’t miss out on the chance to improve your skills, hang out with club friends, and enjoy the fun of surf life saving.

Our goal is to create a positive and rewarding experience for every young lifesaver, where safety, teamwork, and personal growth are at the heart of each session. Whether you’re looking to improve your surf performance or just have fun in the surf with friends, this program is your pathway to confidence in beach events.

Teamwork, safety, and fun!
