On Saturday 24th August, Birubi Point SLSC will be attending the Surf Life Saving NSW Awards of Excellence.

It’s the opportunity to celebrate the success of 2023/2024 for all NSW Clubs and Branches.

Excitingly it will be the time that we can the cheer on our 3 nominees after their success at the Hunter Surf Lifesaving Awards Night.

Greg Williams - Lifesaver of the Year

Stephen Fogwill - Assessor of the Year

Eric Gatehouse - Trainer of the Year

Our club has also been nominated for the Innovation Award for the inaugural Dusk Patrol Program which was implement in mid December after a raft of drownings at the start of Summer. This nomination is a joint award with Fingal Beach SLSC and Port Stephens SLSA Support Operations Group - Hunter Surf Lifesaving.
