Last weekend, we proudly kicked off SRC (Surf Rescue Certificate) training for our Under 13 and Under 14 Nippers, with 13 enthusiastic participants ready to dive in! Our dedicated trainers, Lauren and Steve quickly engaged the cadets and had them in the water in no time.

The training session featured a variety of activities, including timed swims, rescue tube relays, and rescue board manoeuvres,

all designed to foster teamwork—an essential skill for surf lifesavers. The hard work paid off, as the Nippers enjoyed a well-deserved barbecue lunch at the end of the session, celebrating their efforts and camaraderie.

We are excited to see their continued growth and teamwork throughout the season!
