Hunter youth camp was held over the weekend 26-27Oct at Fingal. Water activities(Sat 26Oct) included cave swimming, and rock jumping. A number of water safety measures were in place, including an RWC (manned by Mick Denahy) and water loving Team 7 Patrol Captain Karen Costello crewing an IRB. Karen also jumped in the water to escort small groups into the rock cave.

With a 2-3ft inconsistent swell, and a 1-1.5ft chop, conditions were very challenging when moving the cadets from the beach to the rock cave, south of Barrys Park.

Great job done by all involved!!
