Nipper Event Calendar 2008-2009 Season
Once again the cost of membership has not increased this season. The cost of membership is below:
The new Club information booklet is NOW available on the information morning and a downloadable copy available from the website. The booklet contains a lot of valuable information about being a Birubi Point SLS Club member. It contains all you need to know about being a nipper and will have a calendar of events for you to keep an eye on what the carnival dates are.
This year in conjunction with the Anna Bay Business Association and Newcastle Airport Limited we are proud to announce the new look A4 format of our booklet. This has only been made possible by the valuable assistance of Newcastle Airport Corporation arranged by their corporate affairs manager Mr David Nye. Our heartfelt thanks go to both of these organisations; without such community and business support the cost of producing such a booklet would be prohibitive for the club. Thank You

Birubi Point has a strong nipper focus and works hard on developing skills that can help children to compete and serve as competent, happy lifesavers. We take pride in the high numbers of nippers at our club and have dedicated 'Junior Sub-Committee' especially to fund and look after the needs of our nippers.

We are very keen to involve as many parents in our junior activities as possible, one way to achieve this goal
is to ask parents to become an Age Manager. Being an Age Manager is a very rewarding experience and many parents increase their involvement with Surf Lifesaving by becoming a bronze medallion holder too!
Our junior members are the future life blood of our club so please support your child and become involved.
This season we hope to be involved in competition so watch this space!
